Lamina, 2015
Questioning the traditional notions of portraiture, this is explored using obscurity, form and performance in the finals.
My work has been looking at the relationship between nature and us but developed into a narrative between the relation of forms such as shapes and colour embraced by the models themselves.
Influenced by contemporary art and sculpture, as well as neuroscience of creativity my work has a strong conceptual underpinning yet left ambiguous for the viewer to engage with.
